We know that bringing together diverse experiences drives innovation and allows us to anticipate the needs and expectations of our users.
That is why we focus on two complementary pillars: inclusion, through processes and actions that ensure equal opportunities within a culture that values meritocracy as a fundamental principle; and representation, by promoting the inclusion of diverse profiles and experiences that reflect the richness of our user community.
We also prioritize ensuring an inclusive and respectful environment. Any violation of the MELI Code must be reported. For this, we have a confidential Whistleblower Hotline, available 24 hours a day, allowing anonymous reports.
In 2024, we created the <u>Inclusion Insights Team</u>, an intersectional team whose mission is to ensure that our initiatives and processes are inclusive and integrate a variety of perspectives and experiences, creating an ever-improving work environment for everyone.
Led by the Inclusion team, the group includes 13 professionals from the region, balancing countries, gender, time at the company, age, seniority, and skills, while also taking performance and cultural fit into account.
We also prioritize ensuring an inclusive and respectful environment. Therefore, any violation of the MELI Code must be reported. We have a confidential Hotline, available 24 hours a day, that allows for anonymous reporting.
