We believe in entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development. That is why we have created programs that combine entrepreneurship and financial education for small businesses in Latin America. Our initiatives are tailored to the daily realities of entrepreneurs, offering easily accessible digital learning, specialized mentoring, and effective strategies to grow their businesses. In this way, we promote the social and economic inclusion of micro and small businesses, helping to bridge the gaps that hinder their growth.
Our programs address some of Latin America’s key structural challenges: the difficulties of starting a business, logistical complexity, and low financial inclusion. In these challenges, we see an opportunity to serve millions of people and contribute increasingly to the formalization of the economy and the region’s development.
Emprende
Since 2022, we have partnered with the organization Pro Mujer to develop programs that support women entrepreneurs across Latin America. Through the Emprende program, we offer free training in financial and management skills, facilitate access to education, and foster connections between experts and women entrepreneurs in the region.
The 2025 edition, held in Mexico, strengthened the digital and financial skills of more than 400 women entrepreneurs from the State of Mexico, Jalisco, and Nuevo León over the course of a six-week event. All participants had access to business management training, personalized mentoring, and the chance to access seed funding from Mercado Pago, in addition to payment terminals to process digital payments and better manage their sales.
The program also helped create an online community of women entrepreneurs to encourage sharing experiences and build stronger support networks.
Created to promote financial inclusion and strengthen creative economy businesses, the Ganhaê program offers learning sessions tailored to specific audiences and regions, including women, street vendors, artisans, and entrepreneurs in cities like Belém, the host city of COP 30 in 2025. The initiative covers financial education, management, digitalization, and mentoring.
Ganhaê, Mulher: since 2022, has supported women entrepreneurs in strengthening their businesses by offering free learning paths delivered via WhatsApp, featuring practical content on management and finance, as well as specialized mentoring and advisory services from Aliança Empreendedora and Barkus. In 2025, for the first time, ten finalists received funding to help take their businesses even further.
Ganhaê, Nas Ruas: brings financial and entrepreneurial education to street vendors during major events, such as Carnival, through a training track via WhatsApp (bot).
Ganhaê, Pernambuco: trains artisans, artists, and entrepreneurs who participate in FENEARTE, the largest crafts fair in Latin America. It covers financial management, pricing, digitization, and sales strategies, aiming to promote local culture, expand markets, and increase business profitability.
Ganhaê, Amazon: run in the lead-up to COP30 in Belém in 2025, the initiative prepared entrepreneurs in the creative economy, gastronomy, and hospitality sectors for the challenges and opportunities during the event. Content included practical information on management, finance, marketing, and communication, as well as individual mentoring sessions with local experts and consultants.
